Description
The Traxxas 5833-SLGRY is a set of low-CG nerf bars for the Slash 2WD, molded in slate gray.
Nerf bars run along the sides of the chassis and take the hits that would otherwise land on the chassis rails themselves — contact with other trucks, track markers, and the inevitable sideways landing. They also help support the body and keep it from collapsing onto the wheels in a roll.
These are the low-CG versions, shaped for the lower chassis profile. They do not fit the standard Slash chassis, so check which setup your truck runs before ordering.
Replace them when a bar has cracked through or torn loose at a mounting point. A nerf bar that is still attached but fractured provides no real protection and can catch on obstacles.
Slate gray coordinates with the gray low-CG chassis and hold-down options.
