Description
The Traxxas 5832-STGRY is the low-CG upper chassis for the Slash 2WD, molded in steel gray.
A low-CG chassis seats the battery and electronics lower in the frame, dropping the truck's center of gravity. The payoff is less body roll through corners and far less traction-rolling on high-grip surfaces — the most worthwhile handling change available to a 2WD Slash.
This is the upper chassis only. A complete low-CG setup also requires a matching lower chassis — Traxxas lists this part as needing #5831-BLK, 5831-BLUE, 5831-DGRY or 5831-STGRY. For converting a standard Slash rather than replacing a damaged part, the 5830 conversion kit covers the swap.
Steel gray is the lighter of the two gray finishes in this line; the darker option is 5832-DGRY.
