Description
The Traxxas 5832-DGRY is the low-CG upper chassis for the Slash 2WD, molded in dark gray.
The low-CG chassis lowers the truck's center of gravity by seating the battery and electronics deeper in the frame. Less body roll through corners and a much reduced tendency to traction-roll on high-grip surfaces make it the most effective handling upgrade a 2WD Slash can take.
This is the upper chassis only. A complete low-CG setup also needs a matching lower chassis: Traxxas lists this part as requiring #5831-BLK, 5831-BLUE, 5831-DGRY or 5831-STGRY. If you are converting a standard Slash rather than replacing a damaged part, the 5830 conversion kit bundles what the swap requires.
Dark gray is the deeper of the two gray finishes Traxxas offers in this line; the lighter option is 5832-STGRY in steel gray.
