Description
Left and right steering blocks machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a titanium anodized finish.
The steering blocks carry the front wheel bearings and the steering arm, taking cornering load, impact load and steering input at once. Composite blocks flex under hard cornering, which reads as steering that gets progressively vaguer as load builds. Aluminum holds its shape and survives the front-end impacts that crack a moulded block outright.
Important: Traxxas specifies these for use with both 25-degree and 30-degree caster blocks.
