Molded composite GTR shock bodies. Two per package.
The shock body is the outer cylinder that contains the oil and piston. Composite bodies are lighter than aluminum and will not dent, though they can crack under a direct hit. Once a body is scored or split it will weep oil and damp inconsistently no matter how fresh the fluid is, so replacing the body is what actually restores suspension performance rather than compensating with heavier oil.
Supplied as a pair, which is the sensible way to replace them — shocks should be rebuilt in matched pairs so damping stays even side to side.
Fits: Traxxas XO-1 (64077-3) and other Traxxas models using GTR shocks.
