Traxxas 5361A Revo Slayer Aluminum Chassis Brace

The Traxxas 5361A is a replacement chassis brace machined from 3mm 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized for durability, supplied with the 4x16mm button-head cap screw required to fit it. It works with both extended and standard-length chassis plates.

The brace ties the chassis rails together and resists the twisting load that a nitro short course truck generates under power and on landings. Without adequate bracing, the chassis flexes as a unit, and that flex shows up as suspension geometry that will not stay consistent through a corner and driveline components that wear unevenly because they are no longer running true.

Aluminum is a substantial step up from a molded composite brace here. 6061-T6 is the standard aerospace-grade alloy for chassis components, offering high stiffness for its weight and the ability to absorb repeated flex cycles without work-hardening and cracking. The anodized surface adds a hard outer layer that stands up to nitro fuel, exhaust residue and cleaning solvents far better than bare aluminum.

This is both a direct replacement for a damaged brace and a rigidity upgrade over stock plastic. It uses the existing chassis mounting points, so no drilling or modification is required.
