Description
The Traxxas 3745-GRAY is a pair of 59 mm adjustable steel toe links, measuring 78 mm centre to centre. They allow you to adjust toe settings to change the speed characteristics of the vehicle.
Toe is one of the most effective handling adjustments available and one of the least used. Toe-in adds straight-line stability, which is what you want at high speed or on fast open surfaces where a twitchy rear end costs confidence. Toe-out sharpens turn-in response and helps the vehicle rotate on tight, technical layouts. Being able to change that between runs, rather than being locked into a fixed setting, is what separates a tuned vehicle from a stock one.
These are steel turnbuckles, which is the right material for a link that sits exposed and takes impact loads. Steel resists bending under crash forces far better than lighter alternatives, so the toe setting stays where you put it instead of shifting after the first hard hit.
The turnbuckles come assembled with rod ends and hollow balls, so installation is a matter of fitting them rather than building them. Supplied as a pair. Genuine Traxxas part.
