Description
This is a factory replacement body for the Traxxas Rustler 2WD, and it also fits the Rustler VXL. It arrives painted with ProGraphix graphics and the decals already applied, so there is no masking, spraying, or decal work needed before it goes on the truck.
Construction is impact-resistant polycarbonate, the same material Traxxas uses on the factory shell. Polycarbonate flexes on impact instead of shattering, which is what keeps a stadium truck body serviceable through rollovers, tumbles, and hard landings rather than cracking apart on the first big hit.
The body ships assembled with front and rear body mounts installed for clipless mounting, and the rear wing is included. Clipless mounting latches the shell into place without body clips, so there are no clips to lose at the track and no new holes to drill to get the body seated correctly.
This is a direct replacement for the stock Rustler shell and requires no modification to install. Use it to replace a body that is cracked, torn out at the mounting holes, or faded, or simply to change the look of the truck without a repaint.
