Description
This is the Traxxas latch set for clipless body mounting, containing one front latch, one rear latch, and the left and right front latch mounts.
Clipless mounting is the system that lets the body snap onto the chassis without body clips. The latch is the part that does the actual holding, and it is a wear item by design. Repeated snapping on and off gradually rounds the engagement surfaces, and a hard rollover can crack a latch outright. Once a latch starts letting go, the body lifts at speed or comes off entirely in a crash, which then exposes the electronics to impact and debris.
Replacing the latch set restores a positive, tight body fit and eliminates the rattle that develops as the parts wear. This is a direct replacement for the factory clipless hardware, so no drilling or modification is needed on a truck already set up for clipless mounting.
These are genuine Traxxas components with correct factory fitment. Package includes front latch (1), rear latch (1), and front latch mounts, left and right.
