Description
This is the Traxxas lower chassis for the Rustler 2WD with the 166mm-long battery compartment that fits both flat and hump style battery packs. The lower chassis is the structural foundation of the truck, carrying the suspension mounts, transmission, electronics, and battery.
Chassis damage is usually gradual rather than dramatic: stress cracks form around the suspension mounts and battery compartment after repeated hard landings, and a tweaked chassis will never track straight regardless of suspension setup. A fresh chassis restores a true, square foundation to build on.
The 166mm battery compartment accepts either flat or hump packs without modification, giving flexibility when switching between NiMH and LiPo power.
This is a direct factory replacement for the Rustler 2WD. Package includes one lower chassis.
