Description
This is the Traxxas lower chassis for the Rustler 2WD, featuring the 166mm-long battery compartment that accepts both flat and hump style battery packs. The lower chassis is the backbone of the truck: every suspension mount, the transmission, the electronics tray, and the battery all bolt to it.
A chassis rarely snaps outright, but repeated hard landings can stress-crack it around the suspension mounts and battery compartment, and a tweaked chassis never drives straight again no matter how the suspension is set. Replacing it returns the truck to a true, square foundation.
The 166mm battery compartment is the key spec here. It gives the flexibility to run either flat or hump packs without modification, which matters if you are switching between NiMH and LiPo setups.
This is a direct factory replacement for the Rustler 2WD. Package includes one lower chassis.
