The Traxxas 3695X is a Pro-Built Magnum 272 transmission that arrives ready to install, precisely assembled to Traxxas' exacting standards. Rather than sourcing a housing, gears, shafts, and bearings separately and building the unit yourself, this comes complete and ready to drop in.
That matters more than it first appears. A transmission rebuild is one of the more involved jobs on an RC vehicle, with shimming, gear mesh, and bearing seating all affecting how the finished unit runs and how long it lasts. Getting any of it slightly wrong produces noise, drag, or premature wear. Pro-Built components remove that risk entirely: the assembly work is already done correctly at the factory.
