Description
The Traxxas 3631-SLGRY is a pair of heavy duty front suspension arms for the Slash 2WD, molded in slate gray.
The heavy duty arms use Traxxas's toughest composite material, formulated for high loads and hard landings. Compared with the standard arms they resist cracking at the hinge pin bosses, which is where a front arm normally gives way after a nose-in landing or a solid hit against a track marker.
Front arms take a different kind of abuse than rear ones: they absorb impacts head-on and carry the steering loads, so they are usually the first suspension part a basher replaces. Keeping a spare pair on the bench is sensible if you jump the truck at all.
This is the front pair; the rear heavy duty equivalent is 2555-SLGRY. Slate gray coordinates with the gray low-CG chassis and shock tower options.
Fits: Traxxas Slash 2WD (also fits Stampede and Rustler front).
