Velineon 540XL brushless motor, 2400Kv, 70mm, assembled with 6.5mm gold-plated bullet connectors.
This is the factory motor for the Maxx and Hoss platforms. Brushless motors wear at the bearings rather than at brushes, so a motor that has grown noisy or hot is usually telling you the bearings are done rather than the motor itself — though at some point replacement is the cleaner fix.
Important: Traxxas states this motor is not for use in marine models.
Fits: Traxxas Maxx (89086-4) and Hoss.
