Description
The Traxxas 3446 is the Velineon VX3 electronic speed control, a fully waterproof ESC that transforms 11.1 volts of LiPo power into blistering performance while keeping setup simple through Traxxas EZ-Set one-button programming.
Waterproofing is the headline feature for anyone who actually uses their truck. It means wet grass, puddles, snow, and mud stop being reasons to park the vehicle. Combined with the one-button EZ-Set system, configuration does not require a programming card, a computer, or a manual on the bench: press the button and set it.
A large aluminium heat sink keeps temperatures down for longer run times. Heat is the primary limit on sustained performance in any electric setup, and shedding it effectively is what allows hard running pack after pack rather than backing off to protect the electronics.
The VX3 also carries features drawn from racing, including High-Resolution Linear Braking for finer, more progressive brake control than simple on-off braking allows, and real-time telemetry through Traxxas Link so you can monitor what the system is doing while driving.
