Velineon VXL-4s electronic speed control, waterproof, brushless, with forward, reverse and brake.
The VXL-4s is the 4-cell-capable controller that makes the Jato 4X4's performance possible — it handles the current a 4s pack delivers into the 540XL motor without the thermal shutdowns a lower-rated ESC would hit. Waterproof construction means wet grass and puddles are not a risk.
Worth replacing rather than repairing if an ESC has been run hard and started cutting power intermittently, since that usually means the FETs are on their way out.
Fits: Traxxas Jato 4X4 VXL (90386-4) and other models using the VXL-4s system.
