The Traxxas 3383 is the BL-2s brushless speed control, delivering speed, acceleration, and virtually maintenance-free operation at an affordable price.
Maintenance-free is the headline difference from a brushed system. Brushed motors wear their brushes and commutator down as a matter of course and need periodic attention; brushless has no brushes to replace, so the system keeps performing consistently instead of gradually fading.
Drivers experience smooth, effortless power with added punch for tire-shredding burnouts and blazing fast speed. It is optimised for 7-cell NiMH and 2s LiPo batteries, delivering all-day fun battery after battery.
The speed control is fully waterproof, which means wet grass, puddles, and rain stop being reasons to park the vehicle. That matters more on a rally car than most, since loose and wet surfaces are the point rather than something to avoid.
Safety and convenience features are what you would expect from Traxxas: built-in low-voltage detection protects LiPo packs from over-discharge, thermal shutdown protection guards the ESC itself during hard running, and EZ-Set one-button programming means configuration needs no programming card or computer.
