Low-profile aluminum heat sink for the Velineon 1200XL brushless motor, with a blue anodized finish. One per package.
The heat sink covers nearly 75% of the motor can, giving it far more surface area to pull heat out of the motor than a partial clamp-on design. Heat is what kills brushless motors — sustained high temperatures degrade the magnets and cook the windings — so shedding it is the single most effective thing you can do for motor life on an 8S truck.
The low-profile design also leaves room for the #3474X dual cooling fan kit to mount on top of it.
Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and other models using the Velineon 1200XL motor.
