Cap-head screws concentrate clamping force through a compact head, which suits locations where the fastener seats into a counterbore or against metal. Hex sockets round out with repeated wrenching, especially with a worn driver, so keeping fresh hardware on the shelf saves drilling one out mid-repair.
Fits: Traxxas Maxx Slash (102076-4) and other Traxxas models using 3x8mm cap-head hardware.
