Description
The Traxxas 2555-SLGRY is a pair of heavy duty rear suspension arms for the Slash 2WD, molded in slate gray.
These arms use Traxxas's toughest proprietary composite, developed specifically for high loads and hard landings. The material is formulated to flex enough to absorb an impact rather than shatter, while still holding suspension geometry under power.
Rear arms on a 2WD Slash carry the drive loads as well as the landing forces, so they work harder than the fronts even though they take fewer direct hits. Cracks typically start at the hinge pin bosses and around the shock mount, and an arm that has begun to flex more than its pair will show up as a truck that squats unevenly under acceleration.
This is the rear pair; the front heavy duty equivalent is 3631-SLGRY. Slate gray coordinates with the gray low-CG chassis and suspension components.
Fits: Traxxas Slash 2WD (also fits Stampede and Rustler rear).
