Description
The Traxxas 2532-GRAY is a steel tie bar that strengthens the front bulkhead and suspension arms.
The tie bar ties the front end of the chassis together, and its job is to stop the bulkhead and arm mounts from flexing or spreading under load. Every front-end impact tries to push those components apart. A stiffer tie bar resists that, which keeps suspension geometry consistent through hard cornering and holds the mounting points in place during a crash instead of letting them deflect.
Steel is the significant detail here. It offers considerably more rigidity and impact resistance than the composite alternative, making this the more durable option for anyone who runs hard, jumps regularly, or has broken a front end before. Traxxas also lists a fiberglass version under part 2532, so this steel unit sits above it in strength.
Installation is straightforward, using the existing front bulkhead mounting points with no modification required. Because it is a genuine Traxxas component, fitment and geometry match the factory design exactly.
