These are genuine Traxxas 2.1" spiked front tires, supplied as a pair.
Spiked front tires are the loose-surface companion to the spiked rears. The tall, open spike pattern cuts through grass, sand, and soft dirt to give the front end real steering authority on ground where a ribbed or street tire would just skate across the top.
On a 2WD buggy, front grip is what makes the rear power usable. Running spikes at both ends keeps the handling balanced on soft surfaces instead of giving you a truck that launches hard but will not turn.
These are a soft-surface specialist tire and will wear quickly on pavement. Package includes two 2.1" spiked front tires.
