Description
The Traxxas 10977-RED is a pair of 3.9-inch rear beadlock rings for the Funco Pro Scale sand car (model 109076-4), sized for the Funco rear wheels and sold as a pair. Traxxas specifies the 10977 series as the matching rings for the 3.2" rear wheel-and-paddle-tire sets.
Beadlock rings do a real mechanical job: the ring clamps the tire bead against the wheel rather than relying on glue alone, keeping the tire seated under the enormous torque the rear paddles transfer on an 8s, rear-wheel-drive car. Full-throttle launches in sand load the rear beads harder than anything else on this platform, so mechanically locked beads are meaningful insurance, not just decoration.
The anodized color is also the most visible accent on the rolling stock, sitting right at the outer face of the big rear wheels. Match them with the 10976-series front rings for a complete color set. Package includes two rear beadlock rings.
