Description
The Traxxas 10943 is a pair of rear shock springs for the Funco Pro Scale sand car (model 109076-4), supplied in a natural finish with a 4.003 spring rate. They fit the GT-Maxx style shocks used on this platform and install as direct replacements for the rear springs.
Spring rate is the fundamental tuning tool for how the rear of the car behaves. The Funco is rear-wheel drive with 8s power and carries most of its landing load on the rear suspension, so the rear rate controls how hard the car squats under acceleration, how deep it settles on landings, and how quickly it recovers. The 10943 rate slots into the range Traxxas offers for this platform alongside the other GT-Maxx spring rates, letting you firm up or soften the rear to match your terrain, battery weight, and driving style.
Springs are also a wear item — they sag with hard use, and a sagged rear spring shows up as an unsettled, low-riding rear end. A fresh matched pair restores the stock ride height and consistency. Package includes two rear springs.
