Description
The Traxxas 10855X is the clear-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum center driveshaft for the Mini Slash 4X4, sized for the 235mm wheelbase chassis. It is the aluminum upgrade over the standard plastic shaft.
The center shaft carries every bit of power from the transmission to the differentials, so it absorbs the torque spikes from hard launches and the shock loads from landings. Aluminum handles that far better than plastic, and the added stiffness means power gets delivered rather than lost in flex — a noticeable difference on a small, light truck with brushless power.
Important fitment detail: this shaft is part of a geared center setup, not direct drive. It requires either the #10758 slipper clutch or the #10760 center differential, plus the matching pinion gear — #10862 for Mini Slash, or #10762 for Mini Maxx and Mini XRT. A customer running the stock direct-drive #10855 shaft needs those parts too. Package includes one aluminum center driveshaft.
