Description
The Traxxas 10816-BLUE is a decal sheet for the Mini Rally VXL Ford RS200 body.
Decals are what turn a painted shell into a recognisable Group B rally car. Sponsor markings, competition numbers, and trim details are what the eye reads as authenticity, and an RS200 without them looks like a plain painted body regardless of how good the paintwork is.
They are also a consumable. Decals lift at the edges after repeated running and cleaning, tear on contact with scenery, and get scraped away entirely on the lower panels. Replacing a sheet costs a fraction of replacing a body and brings a car that runs perfectly well back to looking the part.
These are pre-cut factory sheets, so there is no knife work required on a finished paint job. That matters at Mini scale in particular, where the individual decals are small and hand-cutting them accurately is close to impossible.
This is the natural companion to the clear 10812 RS200 body, which ships unpainted and undecorated. Note that the pre-painted RS200 bodies arrive with decals already applied, so these sheets are only needed for the clear shell or as a replacement.
