Description
The Traxxas 10812 is the clear, unpainted Ford RS200 body for the Mini Rally VXL. It comes fully trimmed and ready to paint with window masks and pre-applied overspray film. Traxxas recommends ProGraphix paint for best results.
The RS200 is one of the great Group B rally cars, and painting one yourself is part of the appeal. Starting from clear means the livery is entirely your choice rather than whatever Traxxas decided, and Group B schemes are among the most striking in motorsport.
The preparation work is already handled. The shell arrives trimmed so there is no cutting before painting, window masks are supplied so the glass areas stay clear without hand-masking, and the overspray film protects the outer surface while you spray.
Worth knowing before you choose: at $34.95 this is roughly half the price of the pre-painted RS200 bodies, but it does not include the light pods, mirrors, roof intakes, side skirts, or body brace and latches that come fitted to those. Factor that in if you want the complete scale look rather than a plain painted shell.
