Description
The Traxxas 10577 is a pair of 1.9" front soft-compound drift tires, marked with 2 dots, pre-mounted to 6-spoke tuner wheels with a chrome rim.
Soft-compound drift tires provide the combination of durability and breakaway potential needed for refined drift control on polished surfaces. Compound selection is the primary tuning decision in RC drifting, and it comes down to the ground you run on: soft for smooth indoor floors and polished concrete, hard for abrasive asphalt. Run the wrong one and the car either finds no grip at all or refuses to break away cleanly.
The 2-dot sidewall marking identifies the compound at a glance, which is genuinely useful once you own several sets and they start looking alike on the shelf.
These are the front pair specifically. The matching rear soft-compound set is listed separately under 10576, so a complete set of four requires both part numbers. For abrasive surfaces, the hard-compound versions are 10574 front and 10575 rear.
They arrive pre-mounted to the wheels, so there is no gluing to do before fitting. Sold as a pair. Genuine Traxxas part.
