Description
The Traxxas 10576 is a pair of 1.9" rear soft-compound drift tires, pre-mounted to 6-spoke tuner wheels with a chrome rim.
Soft-compound drift tires provide the combination of durability and breakaway potential needed for refined drift control on polished surfaces. That is the key distinction: soft compound is for smooth, slick indoor floors and polished concrete, where a harder tire finds so little grip that the car simply spins rather than holding a controlled angle.
Rear compound is the more consequential of the two, since the rear tires are the ones being deliberately broken loose and held there. On a polished surface the softer compound gives just enough purchase to make that breakaway progressive and controllable instead of sudden.
These are the rear pair. The matching front soft-compound set is listed separately under 10577, so a full set of four requires both part numbers. For abrasive surfaces like concrete and asphalt, the hard-compound equivalents are 10575 rear and 10574 front.
They arrive pre-mounted to the wheels, so no gluing is needed. Sold as a pair. Genuine Traxxas part.
