Description
The Traxxas 10574 is a pair of 1.9" front hard-compound drift tires, marked with 1 dot, pre-mounted to 6-spoke tuner wheels with a chrome rim.
Hard-compound tires provide the combination of durability and breakaway potential needed for refined drift control on abrasive surfaces like concrete and asphalt. That surface match is the whole point. Abrasive ground chews through softer compounds quickly, and a tire that grips too well makes initiating and holding a slide harder than it should be. A harder compound breaks away predictably and survives the abrasion.
Compound choice is the primary tuning decision in RC drifting, more so than any suspension change. The dot marking on the sidewall makes it easy to identify what is fitted at a glance, which matters when you own several sets.
These are the front pair specifically. Traxxas lists the matching rear hard-compound set separately under 10575, so a full set of four requires both part numbers. The soft-compound equivalents for polished surfaces are 10577 front and 10576 rear.
They arrive pre-mounted, so there is no gluing to do. Sold as a pair. Genuine Traxxas part.
