Description
The Traxxas 10570 is a pair of 1.9" front narrow hard-compound drift tires, marked with 1 dot, supplied with rubber inserts.
Hard-compound drift tires provide the combination of durability and breakaway potential needed for refined drift control on abrasive surfaces like concrete and asphalt. Compound choice is the primary tuning decision in RC drifting: run too soft on abrasive ground and the tires wear out quickly while gripping more than you want, making a slide harder to initiate and hold.
The important distinction with this part is that these are tires only, not a mounted wheel-and-tire set. They include rubber inserts, which support the tire carcass and control how it deforms under load, but no wheels. This is the option to buy if you already have wheels and only need rubber, which works out considerably cheaper than replacing complete assemblies each time.
If you need wheels as well, Traxxas lists pre-mounted front hard-compound sets under 10574. Bare front wheels are available separately under 10571.
