Description
The Traxxas 10543 is a replacement steering bellcrank assembly that includes the servo horn, drag link, bushings, and hardware.
The bellcrank assembly is the mechanical link between the steering servo and the front wheels. The servo horn transfers the servo's rotation into the bellcranks, which pivot and push the drag link, which in turn moves the steering blocks. Every steering input the car makes passes through this chain, so slop anywhere in it shows up immediately as vague, imprecise steering feel.
On a drift car that matters more than on almost any other vehicle. Drifting is continuous, fine steering correction held at the limit of grip. Worn bushings or a loose bellcrank pivot introduce play that makes holding a consistent angle far harder than it should be, and the driver usually blames the setup long before suspecting the linkage.
This is a complete assembly rather than a single component, so a worn or crash-damaged steering system can be restored in one part number instead of chasing individual pieces. Bushings and hardware are included, meaning nothing needs to be salvaged from the old unit.
