Description
The Traxxas 10537-GRN is a pair of left and right 4-Tec Drift aluminum steering blocks that combine total steering authority with bulletproof strength. Machined from solid high-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and protected with a brilliant anodized finish, these hop-up parts provide razor-sharp handling and high-tech style. Includes 3x12 mm screws (4).
Steering blocks carry the front wheels, house the wheel bearings, and pivot to steer the car, which puts them in the load path of every steering input and every front-end impact. Composite blocks flex under that loading and eventually crack, and the flex alone softens steering response before any visible damage appears.
Machined aluminum removes that variable. The blocks hold their shape under load, so steering input translates directly into wheel movement instead of being partly absorbed by deflection. On a drift car running large steering angles for sustained periods, that directness is exactly what makes holding a consistent line possible.
Solid billet machining also produces tighter bearing seats and pivot tolerances than moulded parts, which means less accumulated slop over time and front wheels that stay properly located.
