Description
The Traxxas 10535 is a replacement 4-Tec front lower left adjustable suspension arm.
Note the side: this is the left-hand arm specifically. Traxxas lists the matching front lower right arm separately under part 10534, and the two are not interchangeable. Check which corner you need before ordering, because the part headings on both are easy to confuse.
The lower arm carries the bulk of suspension loading at the front of the car. It locates the wheel, feeds cornering forces into the chassis, and takes the direct hit in any front-end collision. Being adjustable, it also contributes to setting front suspension geometry rather than being purely structural.
Arms are consumables on any RC car, and deliberately so. An arm that breaks in a crash has absorbed energy that would otherwise have gone into the bulkhead, chassis plate, or steering components, all of which are considerably more expensive. Keeping spares of both sides on the shelf is standard practice for anyone running regularly.
This is a direct replacement for the factory part, fitting the original mounting locations with no modification, and geometry matches the stock design exactly.
