Description
The Traxxas 10534 is a replacement 4-Tec front lower right adjustable suspension arm. Note that Traxxas specifies this as the right-side arm rather than a universal fit, so check which corner you need before ordering.
The lower arm carries the bulk of the suspension loading at the front of the car. It locates the wheel, transfers cornering forces into the chassis, and takes the direct hit in any front-end impact. Being adjustable, it also plays a part in setting front suspension geometry rather than being a purely structural component.
Arms are consumables on any RC car, and that is by design. An arm that breaks in a crash has absorbed energy that would otherwise have travelled into the bulkhead, the chassis plate, or the steering components, all of which cost considerably more to replace. Keeping spares on the shelf is standard practice for anyone running regularly.
This is a direct replacement for the factory part. It fits the original mounting locations with no modification, and geometry matches the stock design exactly, so ride height and handling are unchanged after fitting.
