Description
The Traxxas 10514 is a set of replacement Ford Mustang body accessories for 10511-series bodies. It includes the hood vents, front grille, and 3x10 mm screws (6).
The grille and hood vents are what make the front of a scale body read as the real car rather than a smooth moulded shape. On a Mustang in particular the grille is the single most recognisable feature of the front end, so a damaged or missing one is immediately obvious.
They are also positioned where damage happens. The grille sits at the leading edge of the body, taking the first contact in any front-end impact, and hood vents sit on the upper surface where they get scraped in a rollover. Both are inexpensive relative to the shell they are fitted to.
Fitment is specific to 10511-series Mustang bodies, which covers the clear shell and all the pre-painted colors in that range. The six mounting screws are included, so no hardware needs to be recovered from the broken parts.
