Description
The Traxxas 10512 is a set of replacement Ford Mustang body accessories for 10511-series bodies. It includes the side mirrors, spoiler, and 2.5x10 mm screws.
These are the scale detail parts that sit proud of the shell, which is exactly why they are the first things to break. Mirrors snap off in the lightest contact and a spoiler catches on anything the car slides into. On a drift car making frequent close-quarters contact with barriers and other cars, they are genuine consumables rather than permanent fittings.
Replacing them individually is far cheaper than replacing the whole body. A shell with missing mirrors and a broken spoiler still runs perfectly well, but it stops looking like the car it is meant to represent, and on a scale drift build appearance is a large part of the point.
Fitment is specific to 10511-series Mustang bodies, which covers the clear shell and all the pre-painted colors in that range. Mounting screws are included, so nothing needs to be salvaged from the damaged parts.
