Description
The Traxxas 10430-SLGRY is a battery hold-down set in slate gray for the low-CG Slash 2WD chassis, supplied with the battery clip, hold-down post and screw pin.
The hold-down is what keeps the pack planted through jumps and hard landings. A battery that shifts under impact changes the truck's balance mid-air and can pull on the ESC leads, so a cracked clip or a stripped post is worth replacing rather than working around.
Fitment is specific: this set is for the low-CG chassis, listed by Traxxas as fitting the 5832-BLK, 5832-BLUE, 5832-DGRY and 5832-STGRY chassis. It does not fit the standard Slash chassis, which uses a different hold-down arrangement.
The slate gray finish coordinates with the gray low-CG chassis and nerf bar options for a matched build.
