Description
Front and rear motor mounts machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a blue anodized finish. Supplied with four 3x10mm countersunk screws and two 4x12mm button-head screws, all pre-treated with threadlock.
The motor mounts hold the motor square to the spur gear and set gear mesh. Aluminum resists the flex and heat softening that lets a mount shift under load, and mesh that drifts is what strips a spur — whining and wearing when too tight, skipping and shearing teeth when too loose. The mounts also carry heat away from the motor can.
Important: Traxxas specifies these for use with the #3461 motor.
Fits: Traxxas Maxx (89086-4) and Maxx Ultimate (89087-4).
Direct replacement for the factory motor mounts, hardware included.
