Replacement motor mount cap.
The cap clamps the motor into the mount and sets how securely it is held against the spur gear. A loose or damaged cap lets the motor shift under load, which throws off gear mesh — too tight and the gears whine and wear fast, too loose and they skip and strip. Getting the motor held solidly is what keeps mesh consistent.
