Description
Front chassis brace machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a blue anodized finish. Supplied with two 2.5x6mm countersunk screws pre-treated with threadlock.
The front brace ties the chassis together and resists the twisting that a long-wheelbase truck sees under hard cornering and on landings. Chassis flex is felt as inconsistent handling that changes with load, and it is the kind of fault that never shows up on the bench. Aluminum holds the front end square where a composite brace gives.
Fits: Traxxas Maxx (89086-4) and Maxx Ultimate (89087-4).
Direct replacement for the factory front chassis brace, hardware included.
