Description
Roll pins are small but critical drivetrain hardware. Each pin passes through the axle and locks the wheel hex to it, transferring every bit of motor power from the driveshaft out to the wheel. Because they carry the full drive load in a tiny cross-section, roll pins wear, deform, and eventually shear, especially after hard landings or a tumble at speed.
The ASC9956 set is the correct front replacement pin for the 12mm front hex, part #9955. It fits the B44, RC10B44.1, RC10B44.2, and B44.3, as well as the RC10B64, RC10B64D, and RC10B64 Club Racer.
Installing fresh pins restores a tight, rattle-free connection between hex and axle. Worn pins introduce slop that you feel as vague steering and a clunky drivetrain, and a pin that finally lets go leaves you stranded on the track. These are direct stock replacements that drop straight in, so it is worth keeping a set in the pit box before you need one.
