Description
The Team Associated ASC9879 battery strap is the factory hold-down that keeps a LiPo pack locked into the chassis of your RTR short course truck. It clamps the pack down over the chassis saddle so the battery cannot shift under hard acceleration, heavy braking, or a rough landing, which protects both the pack and the wiring running to your speed control.
This strap is a direct replacement for the SC10, SC10B, SC10.2, SC10.3 Lucas Oil, and SC10.3 JRT. It installs in the stock location using the stock hardware, so no modification or trimming is needed to fit it to your existing chassis.
Battery straps take a real beating over time. Repeated pack swaps stretch and fatigue the strap, and a hard rollover can crack it outright. A loose or damaged strap lets the pack move around mid-run, throwing off handling and risking damage to the battery. Keeping a fresh spare on the bench means a two-minute fix instead of a cut-short race day.
