Description
This set covers the front and rear body mounts for the Team Associated SC10, SC10GT, SC10.3 Lucas Oil, and SC10.3 JRT, replacing the posts that hold the short course body to the chassis.
Body mounts do more than keep the shell in place. A body that sits square and secure protects the electronics and drivetrain underneath it from dirt and impact, and it stops the shell shifting or lifting at speed. Mounts sit high and exposed, so they are among the first parts to snap in a rollover or a heavy landing, and a broken post usually means the body is done keeping anything out until it is fixed.
Because these are the same parts the truck was assembled with, they install in the stock chassis locations with your existing hardware, keeping the original body height and position so the shell lines up as it should. Having front and rear mounts in a single set means a broken post is a quick repair between rounds instead of the end of a run.
