Description
This pair of left and right steering bolts is the direct replacement for the pivot hardware in the steering assembly of the Team Associated RC10B4, B4.1, B4.2, RC10T4, T4.1, T4.2, T4.3, SC10, SC10B, SC10.2, SC10.3 Lucas Oil, and SC10.3 JRT.
The steering bolts locate the bellcranks and carry every load the servo puts through the steering system, so their condition has a direct effect on how the car turns. As the bolts wear, play creeps into the assembly and shows up as a dead spot around center, vague turn-in, and steering that no longer returns to the same place twice. It is the sort of fault that gets blamed on the servo or the setup long before anyone checks the hardware.
Because these match the bolts fitted at the factory, they install in the stock positions with no modification and restore the original steering geometry. Replacing worn bolts is a quick job on the bench and one of the least expensive ways to sharpen up the front end.
