Description
The front bulkhead is the structural mount at the front of the chassis that carries the front suspension arms and holds the front end square under load. This Team Associated part is the direct replacement across a wide slice of the platform, fitting the RC10B4, B4.1, B4.2, RC10T4, T4.1, T4.2, T4.3, SC10, SC10B, SC10GT, SC10.2, SC10.3 Lucas Oil, SC10.3 JRT, and GT2.
Because it is the same part the car was assembled with, it drops into the stock position using your existing screws and hinge pins and holds the original arm and kick-up geometry. Nothing about your setup changes when you fit it, which is exactly what you want from a repair part.
The bulkhead absorbs the energy of every head-on impact, and eventually it cracks or distorts. Even a hairline crack lets the front arms move under load, and the car will feel loose and unpredictable long before the damage is obvious on the bench. Given the price, it is worth keeping a spare in the parts box.
