Description
This is the version 2 side rail set for the Team Associated RC10B84, RC10B84D, and RC10T84 Team 4WD off-road vehicles, the rails that run along the sides of the chassis to add structural rigidity and protect the underside of the tub from impacts and debris. They are molded from an updated, more durable composite than the original rails, better resisting the cracking, gouging, and flex that side rails take from rock strikes, curb hits, and hard landings during off-road racing. Stiffer, well-protected side rails help the chassis maintain consistent flex characteristics, which contributes to predictable handling, especially over rough or technical terrain. This set is a direct replacement for cracked, gouged, or worn original side rails, and also serves as an upgrade for racers on the original-specification rails who want the improved V2 durability. The rails are designed to bolt onto the vehicle's existing chassis using the factory mounting points and hardware, requiring no other modification. The set includes the side rails needed to cover both sides of the chassis.
