Description
The Team Associated ASC92607 rear shock tower is a replacement suspension component for the RC10T84 Team Kit stadium truck. It mounts at the rear of the chassis and carries the upper mounting points for the rear shocks, locating them relative to the rear suspension arms and feeding suspension loads back into the drivetrain and chassis.
This tower is configured for the 98.5mm rear arm setup used on the RC10T84. The upper shock position it establishes sets the shock angle, which controls how quickly the damper responds to arm travel. That is a major factor in rear traction, how the truck squats under power out of a corner, and how well it absorbs landings on rough tracks.
The rear tower is a common casualty of hard landings and rollovers, so a spare is a worthwhile pit box item for racers. This is a direct replacement for the rear shock tower supplied with the RC10T84 Team Kit and installs in the stock location using the original mounting hardware and shock positions.
