Description
The Team Associated ASC92606 front shock tower is a replacement suspension component for the RC10T84 Team Kit stadium truck. The tower mounts at the front of the chassis and carries the upper mounting points for the front shocks, locating them relative to the front suspension arms and transferring suspension loads back into the chassis.
This tower is configured for the 88.5mm front arm setup used on the RC10T84, positioning the upper shock mounts to suit that arm length. Shock tower geometry has a direct effect on how the front end behaves: the angle at which the shock is mounted changes how quickly the damper reacts to arm movement, which in turn influences front grip, steering feel, and how the truck settles on landings.
Sitting at the very front of the truck, the shock tower absorbs the brunt of head-on impacts, which makes it a sensible spare to keep in the pit box. This is a direct replacement for the front shock tower supplied with the RC10T84 Team Kit and installs in the stock position using the original mounting hardware.
