Description
This is a low-traction-compound (LTC) metal differential set for the Team Associated RC10B84 and RC10B84D 4WD off-road buggies, including both the front and rear differentials that transfer power from the driveline to each axle's wheels. The gears and differential cases are machined from metal rather than the composite or plastic used in standard-duty differentials, giving the assembly far greater resistance to wear, stripping, and heat buildup under sustained high-torque loads. Built specifically to handle the reduced grip and increased wheel spin encountered on low-traction surfaces such as loose dirt, sand, or blue-groove tracks, this set keeps power delivery smooth and predictable where a standard differential is more prone to premature wear. It functions as a direct upgrade over the factory plastic differentials for racers chasing extra durability, and also serves as a replacement for a worn or damaged standard differential. The set is designed to install using the vehicle's existing differential housings, outdrives, and gear mesh hardware, requiring no other driveline changes. Both the front and rear differential internals are included in this set, one for each end of the vehicle.
